Same as plano-convex lens, the double convex lens has positive focus, it can show real image and virtual image. We ensure the two surfaces are symmetrical by adopt the same templet to process. As the double convex lens has symmetry, it make the coma aberration, aberration, transverse chromatism almost be dispel in common rail. Compared with the same diameter and surface curvature of plano-convex lens, the focus of the double convex lens is shorter.
